Annie B. Campbell received her BFA from the Department of Crafts and Material Studies at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2004, with a focus in ceramics. She spent 2004-2007 participating in ceramics programs of various sorts in Italy, at Watershed Center for the Ceramic Arts in Maine, Maho Bay Clay Works in the US Virgin Islands, and Sugar Maples Center for the Arts in New York State. She was awarded her first solo show at the Gumenick Gallery in Glen Allen, Virginia in July 2007. She received her MFA in Studio Ceramics from Indiana University, Bloomington in May 2010, where she also taught Art for Non-Majors and Intro to Ceramics to undergraduates. She spent 2010 as a ceramics studio volunteer and teacher at Visual Art Center of Richmond,VA and in 2011 was awarded a three month International Emerging Artist's Residency at The Scottish Sculpture Workshop in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. In 2012-13 she was an Artist in Residence and instructor at Studio 550 in Manchester, NH. She currently resides in Concord NH where she has a private studio. Her most recent residency was as a Distinguished Fellow at the Hambidge Center for the Arts and Sciences in the north Georgia mountains and her most recent solo exhibition was at the Community Clay Center in Plymouth NH, both May/June 2015, She teaches Ceramics, 3-Design and Printing on Clay and Glass at New Hampshire Technical Institute and Endicott College in Massachusetts.
